Choosing
What does the rangefinder actually change?
It removes the guess. Distance appears in the display while you are still looking through the eyepieces, out to 600 yards and accurate to about a yard. Every other goggle in this bracket makes you estimate in the dark or put the optic down to reach for a separate unit. If you have ever tried to judge 180 versus 250 yards at night, you already know why this is the feature we built the product around.
Is 4K worth it over 1080p?
For the first look across a field, barely. For everything after that, yes. A 4K sensor is 8,294,400 pixels against 2,073,600 — four times the detail. It is what you zoom into and what you record. Push a 1080p sensor to 8× and it turns to mush at precisely the moment you are trying to identify something.
Binoculars or a monocular?
Two eyes give you depth, which matters when you are walking in the dark rather than sitting still. The V6 PRO is a binocular and runs head-mounted, so it stays with you while you climb, load and move.
Using it
Does it work in complete darkness?
Yes. It carries its own 850nm infrared illuminator, so it makes its own light. No moonlight needed, no ambient source needed.
Will the infrared spook game?
850nm is near-infrared and invisible to the human eye. Most game animals show no reaction to it.
Can I use it in daylight?
Yes. It runs full color during the day and switches to night mode after dark, so it doubles as an ordinary pair of binoculars.
How far can I actually see?
About 400 yards in total darkness with the illuminator on. More on a clear night with moonlight, less in heavy rain or fog — night vision reads light, so weather that swallows light costs you range.
How long does the battery last?
About 8 hours on a charge, and the cell swaps out in the dark with gloves on. The All-Night Power Pack takes you to roughly 16 — running flat at 2am is the most avoidable way to end a hunt.
Is it waterproof?
IP65: rain, snow and spray are fine. It is not rated for submersion, so do not drop it in the creek.

From the United States, in two to five business days. Shipping is free on every order.
What is the 30-day field test?
A return window that expects you to use the product. Take it out at night, get it dirty, run the battery down. If it does not earn its place in your pack, send it back within 30 days for a full refund — return shipping on us.
What does the warranty cover?

Is night vision legal where I hunt?
It depends on your state and on the species. Laws vary widely and they change — several states allow night vision for hogs and coyotes but not for deer, and some require a permit. Check your state wildlife agency before you head out. We cannot advise on local regulations.
